Either way, she plays tries to foil a plot and as a "villainess", Jill had her own ambition to do so this episode. Tbh, Jill did handle this in the best way she could. It's an episode where she displayed her own confidence in talents although she took a big risk.

The "A story from a little while ago" segments honestly put this anime a solid step above the usual low-budget reincarnation stuff. They're great, and I hope this anime continues to be amazing.

But honestly, the show will have to give up on one of those, sooner rather than later. Already, her OP-ness is just removing challenges and difficult choices. When the mercenary guy threatens the northern soldiers to hand over Jill if they want to live, there was absolutely no reason for the soldiers to comply, when she can punch through walls and leap over tall buildings like Superman. A choice is difficult and interesting only if there's a very real threat to them dying or a benefit to them making compromises.

Same here. I guess it's kind of obvious, in hindsight. With the military uniform and everything. At least she isn't an outright psychopath (but maybe that makes it less fun for some people).

Preferred it just being Jill overcoming things alongside the other noble and the soldiers.
Not sure if there will be more weird age difference jokes next episode after they inevitably beat the Marquess, but it's a lot nicer and fun to watch when Jill is a strong standalone character (who happens to be a child) and not sexualised.
Also loved the scene when Jill burst through the church window and kicked ass 😎

Just when I begin to think if the male protagonist is even necessary when the female protagonist can do everything by herself, the dragon just appear. I'll leave the dragon business to him then.

Beil thought he had everything figured out and had the emperor cornered just for his plans to crumble like dust lmao. Gonna be interesting to see how the emperor deals with him next week.
Still can’t get over how much sphere looks like a mix of Filo and Melty lmao.

I'm glad we don't have a whiny FL. tired of those. I'm liking Jill and her quick thinking and no nonsense attitude. though yes she's very OP and that sometimes feel a bit cringey but sometimes you need a little cringe in life! I love the ML! I love how he ain't some stone face cold dude, I love aside from being a powerful character he has his own quirks and love that he just goes off to baking every time.

@perseii Her weakness is the people around her. She would have been fine, but if they had burned down the church her soldiers would have gotten hurt/killed. (admittedly they undercut that when she took out the whole group in like 1 second, but whatever) Also, she can punch people all she wants, but you can't (always) punch political problems away, so she has to be at least a bit clever about how she does things, rather than just brute force everything.
Also, in the end the problem she is REALLY solving is preventing the Emperor from becoming evil, which is not something she can punch.
Yeah, I'm also here to see her win people's hearts and win her man's heart. But given how the writers are perfectly happy to hand her easy wins in the magic and fighting department, I wonder if she'll be able to control everyone purely because everyone thinks she is just so awesome. I hope not. Or maybe it won't matter because the show is just too much fun.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Edit: In case you don't undeerstand the ref, Argent or Devil of the Rhine (as well as Fairy 01) are all code/nicknames for Tanya von Degureschaff from Youjo Senki. While Murasaki is Hadis' nickname for Jill. Both being loli mil officers. Moreover, both Jill and Tanya has color-based nicknames, being Murasaki (purple in jap) and Argent (silver as in Silver Wing) respectively. Not that both title have any connections whatsoever, but still an interesting trivia wouldn't you agree.

Remembering how she literally levitated on water, threw a ship, then punched a cannonball, I wouldn't have been surprised if she literally lifted the church and flew away with it...

It's no surprise that Jill was able to win the troops trust & cooperation. She was, after all, armed with her knowledge & experience from her previous life. I had a feeling that dragon will heel once it sees her ring, but it was actually her fiance that prevented the green dragon from torching Jill hehe

Loving how Jill is determined to save everyone. Emperor will likely become more optimistic thanks to her. It was sad to see how the Marquess girl loves him, but he was like "eh, at this point it's best if she just dies here".

While she's fighting back, Rave reports the matter to Hadis, which he can only cook while waiting to make any sensible moves, which the bride has everything all covered for him. Surely, with all of history behind her, Jill is unfathomable trying to stop Beilburg's forces, and anything dragon-related is left to Hadis to handle.
What a power duo, that's Jill and Hadis for you.
